Mad for Markers Challenge

Hi all!

Well I went round to a friends place last night and she showed us how to make a rather cool looking card!  I thought I would put it into the latest Mad for Markers Challenge which is to make a male card using brown copics.  My little Greeting Farm dude hasn't got a lot of brown.  I used E000, E00, E11 and E13 to give him a more sun tanned look and I've used E11, E13 and E17 for his surfboard.  I've also added a little sparkle using the turquoise and orange Spica pens... although your probably can't tell in the photo :-/

If you want to join in the challenge or check out everyone else's VERY COOL work head over here.  Thanks for looking and hope you have a great day!

Scrapboxx March Sketch

Hi!  Just a really quick post before I pick the boys up from daycare.  I had planned to do some scrapping this arvo, but after a walk with my mum, cleaning the oven, the floors the shower and the dog I kinda run out of time lol... BUT last night I did get a chance to scrap and I finished the March Sketch from The Scrapboxx!  I'm the featured member at The Scrapboxx this month too... how exciting is that!!!

This layout actually came together quite quick and I used up some scraps, so that's always a bonus :-)
Anyways, here is the sketch...

and here is my layout....

I turned it sideways :-b  The paper is Fancy Pants (Rough and Tough) and the all the super chipboard stars are from Stuff 2 Scrap!  Thanks for taking the time to stop by and hope you're having a lovely day xoxox

Mo's Challenge #73 - A bit of green

A really quick share before I head back to a relaxing Sunday on the couch with my boys... some book marks I made as a gift for the Grandparents and Great-Grandparents from my boys.  These were really quick and easy to make and of course the digital image which I LOVE is from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I've coloured them in to represent my two boys... although I must admit it's not all that often Evan and Royce sit happily together like this lol  The challenge for this week over at Mo's Challenge Blog is to use a bit of green, so if ya feeling crafty give it a go!  Hope you're having a relaxing weekend, I know I am :-)  :-)

Vegies!

Well I haven't got any layouts to show, but I do have a couple of photos.  We've decided to try growing our own vegetables (God help our poor vegies lol).  Here is a couple of photos of Evan with his strawberry plants.  His really eager to grow some strawberries and tomatoes... gorgeous boy.  I really have no clue (even though I studied botany at uni... ironic :-/ ), but I'm pretty sure we're a bit late for strawberries.  Oh well, if it puts a smile on my li'l boys face then strawberries it is!!!  Hope your having a lovely weekend xoxox

happiness is...

Just a really quick post to show you my latest layout.  I've picked up a few new bits and pieces to play with, so this is the result.  I've used Tattered Angels glimmermist with a Prima stencil.  I've also used Tattered Angels crepe ribbon, as well as some itty bitty doilies from The Chip Chop Shop.  And no layout would be complete with out a little Kaiser bling lol

The photo is of my youngest son, Royce... and I can't believe this photo was taken nearly three years ago :-(  They are growing up way too fast for my liking.  Anyway I'm off to get the boys to bed and then watch a movie with my hubby... it's very rare for us have quality time together, so I better not keep him waiting.  Thanks for looking and hope you're having a lovely day xoxox
